Cassy Blakely
Therapist, LMHP
You are not broken. No one is. Still, it can feel that way. Chances are, you're a capable, talented, and lovable person dealing with a crappy situation (or bunch of situations), life isn't what you want it to be, or societal realities are heavy. The clients I serve are curious about how to see themselves as powerful, brave, and beautiful. I enjoy serving adolescents and adults, who are battling trauma, anxiety, identity/self-esteem, eating disorders, life transitions, and relationship dysfunction. I am building expertise in sexual health, individuals who sexual harm, and polyamory/ethical non-mono relationship structures.
I've 20 years of experience with child welfare and juvenile justice through direct service, programming, and policy change. I am sex positive, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and affirming of non-traditional family/relationship structures. I use a range of therapeutic approaches to help your brain and heart work together. I've afternoon and evening times.
Our time together is for you to be exactly who you are, without apologies. My office is bright, with cozy blankets, fidgets, and freedom to be comfortable. It's a place to laugh, cry, yell, role-play healthy conversations, make plans, tear down negative beliefs, challenge what "should be", and test out solutions together. It's a place to fly your freak flag.
