Abby is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) in Lincoln, Nebraska. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling.

For as long as she can remember, Abby has been drawn to helping people and instilling a sense of hopefulness about the future. She brings this hopeful outlook to every interaction with her clients as she helps them identify strengths to overcome difficulties and trying life transitions. Abby creates a welcoming therapeutic environment using a dose of humor and unconditional positive regard. She meets her clients where they are in their healing journey to help them develop coping strategies as they explore their past, navigate the present, and move towards a more fulfilling future.

Abby’s experiences working in a variety of both inpatient and outpatient settings has provided her with the necessary skills and experience to effectively work with many different mental health issues including trauma, self-harm, mood disorders, anxiety, and life transitions.

Abby works well with older adolescents (16+) and adults. She employs a variety of therapeutic techniques that fit the client’s needs while utilizing their strengths and supports. Additionally, Abby offers counseling from a Christian-based perspective when requested.
